Fun to make! “Five-Ingredient Honey Butter Beer Bread” from pg 69 of the tagged book, which I LOVE. I love making quick breads and this was super quick: 5 mins to prep (maybe less) and 35-40 mins to bake.

• I used a glass bread dish, so added time for a total of 55 minutes bake time.
• Will add a pinch of salt next time since salt isn‘t one of the 5 ingredients.

My family inhaled half the loaf before I could even snap a picture 😂 #mtcookbook

Tonight I made the Braised Pork Tamale Burrito Bowls from p. 143 of HBH and it was delicious! The meat is a little spicy, so I served it with homemade pineapple salsa and roasted corn to cool it off a bit. I doubled the recipe thinking we would have some for tomorrow‘s dinner, but there‘s none left 🤷🏻‍♀️ #mtcookbook

I am pretty familiar with making Butter Chicken-I make it regularly. It‘s so yummy!! But I *very nervously* tried this healthier slow-cooker version from p.133 in the tagged HBH. I‘m looking for more non-mushy slow-cooker recipes and my family loved this dish!! It was delicious and pretty close to the ATK Butter Chicken I am used to making, just with a lot less butter🧈🐓

I spent this morning pre-picking a “few” recipes I want to try from one of my new cookbooks—I chose 26 from this book alone! My goal is to try one new recipe every 1-2 weeks. But this means I will meet 2024‘s goal almost in its entirety with this one book.

I want to cook from any/all books on my cookbook shelf. I may end up having to adjust my goal a bit OR I may just end up with a super long list of recipes to choose from 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ #mtcookbook

Tamra I created a long list, but I‘m sure it‘s going to get modified over the year. I found so many within single books - this exercise has made me appreciate them better. Though I also found some that are likely going to be donated too. Win/win! 12mo

I've been giving audiobooks another try recently since our garden is in high gear. I'm spending a lot of time in the kitchen canning & freezing.
I'm also trying out more vegetarian dishes and absolutely loved this Kung Pao Cauliflower from the Half Baked Harvest blog!

I am obsessed with cookbooks and Tieghan's has a permanent place on my kitchen shelf! I've been trying to add more vegetarian dishes to my meal planning & absolutely loved this creative buffalo falafel pita recipe giving a Southern vibe to a traditional Middle Eastern dish.
Even my husband (total carnivore) enjoyed this one! I think it was the buffalo sauce and fries that won him over.
