Last night my library hosted an author program which featured Wade Rouse, aka Viola Shipman! 💕📚 I got to run the whole thing which included facilitating the event, handling the Q&A portion, and the best part of all - getting to go out to dinner beforehand with him and his lovely husband! It was an absolutely magical evening!
An endearing story of Lolly‘s life told through the charms on her bracelet and enfolding in her relationship with her daughter and granddaughter. It was perfect for my commute into a conference each day this week.
I really enjoyed this book. It‘s my second by this author and I plan to read more. It‘s a beautiful story of a grandmother, her daughter, and her granddaughter and the charms on her bracelet that have many stories for living that she wants them to know for them to use in their own lives.
Great premise but could have been written more creatively. Interesting to me tho for the significance behind the charms

This one has garnered mixed reviews on here...hoping for the best. 🤞🤞
I thought the author was a good storyteller- when he was narrating or when a character was telling a story, but when he was writing dialogue, the the dialogue did not sound natural. I find Nora Roberts & JD Robb writes some of the best natural dialogue. Those that look down on romance novels might find that surprising!!!

Chloe and I decided we needed to read a beach read this cold winter day! So we turned the chair around to look outside! #DogsOfLitsy
Finally decided to finish reading my summer bookclubs summer read!! It's freezing out, it's going to snow this weekend. A girl's gotta dream!! 🏖 #SipsAndSunSummerReads #getindie #BluebirdBooksStore
It took me forever to finish this book😓good story but plot was so slow. This is the story of 3 female generations, in one summer they found how much they loved each other, it is about how to respect our elders about second chances. The grandmother showed their stories through the charms selected in their bracelets. Lauren explained so well her love for her grandmother at the of the story.I love my grandma so this story was special for me3.4⭐️
3 of my favorite things: a book, Chloe and my son‘s afghan he crocheted. I won‘t get done with the book in time, but I hear they‘re serving a great drink, so I‘ll probably go to book club tonight anyway! 🍹 📚
Such a sweet, heart-warming story centered around an heirloom charm bracelet. Each charm was given to Lolly for a specific reason and each ones tells a little bit of her family‘s story.

This book just wasn't good. It's a cute concept but the plot execution and writing were poor. The book was just pure saccharine. So many tears shed by the characters and way too many I love yous. It was eye rolling. And, the writing style was not only simplistic, it didn't even come close to ringing true. It's as if the author had some preconceived stereotypical notion as to what the reader wanted but totally missed the mark.
I'm beginning this novel! I am reading the first pages. But enough, I don't find evident particular... But I know that something of beautiful to will happen...
"Can't change the past," Lolly said. "But you can change the future." This was a sweet read. Made me miss my grandmother.
Saw all the library pics tonight and it remind me of this pic I took years ago.... Arizona is still the Wild West #somethingforsept #librarylove
The Charm Bracelet was a nice story about bringing family together after too long. I thought it was too syrupy sweet though, everything was so overly colorful and happy, even the characters (except for one.) It did make me look online for the town, or one like it, because I would love to visit it.
