This was a harrowing read and I was glued to the pages. I can‘t wait to read more from this author.

Three sisters escape their abusive home only to find themselves in an even worse situation. 😬 Lots of CWs.
I‘ve read several Chevy Steven‘s books and this one was at the bottom of my list. It‘s definitely a page turner, but in that ‘can‘t look away from a train wreck‘ sort of sense. It‘s got some extremely graphic rape and torture scenes, and it‘s not the type of story I‘d really want anyone else to read.
I randomly selected Those Girls by Chevy Stevens from my Overdrive/Libby wishlist where it‘s been patiently waiting for ages. I‘m glad I finally checked it out. Three teenage sisters are raised by their father in an abusive, neglectful home. Circumstances finally come to a breaking point and the girls run away, headed for Vancouver. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was my second Chevy Stevens book, and I will definitely read more. I had previously read Dark Roads and though I found it only so-so, I wanted to give her writing another try. It was quite graphic in parts, (TW: SA, DV), but not any more than needed for the seriousness of the topics. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I liked it.
My last two reads- thoroughly enjoyed them both! Proceed with caution with both, a lot of very dark, disturbing moments. But both very well done with lots of twists and turns.
I started this last night and it is INTENSE, but very good so far!
This book made me feel all over the place. It was fast-paced, but then it‘d drag in parts. The scenes where there was action absolutely made your skin crawl and your heart pump. I connected and felt deeply with some characters, and absolutely despised (to say the least) others. A rollercoaster of a book that will definitely leave a lasting impression. I‘ll for sure be reading more by this author.
It took me a while to get into it and once I did I felt it was a little intense. I enjoyed the story and the sisterly bond. I'm not sure what direction I wanted the book to go but didnt like the 3rd part of the book. I didnt like the choices that were made and left me feeling like WHY? Would somebody do that. Overall I do want to try another Chevy Steven's book. Trigger warning for rape, abuse, murder and kidnapping.
This book was good but could definitely be triggering to some. The bond between the sisters was incredible. #Scarathlon #teamslaughter #ScaryScavangerHunt #Acharacterdies @Clwojick
Husband chipped a bone in his knee, while working through all the flooding. Picking him up and audio booking on the drive.
Holy crap! Loved this book!! Now to move on to my other books. Which one should be next!? #MBCfrogsread4
This book is so good so far! On chapter 14 so far and can‘t put it down! #MBCfrogsread3
It was a good book but a hard read. I seriously need some happy fluff after this.
😂😂😂
Been a minute since I‘ve posted on here! 😮 I‘m enjoying this book so much, I just had to share it with y‘all 😍 This was a Stephen King recommendation and he‘s my man! So, needless to say, I promptly bought the ebook. I‘m a little over halfway through and finding it hard to put it down...I‘ve rarely become so invested in a group of characters so quickly as I did these girls. This is going to be one that lingers with me for a long, long time.
This book - wow! My friend and I were reading it together and we could NOT put it down! We read it all in one day. It is an exhilarating and heartbreaking story of three sisters who go through some extremely difficult things. Their bond is so strong and inspiring. I cannot wait to read more books by this author! (I own 2 more!)
My bestie and I bought the same book awhile back...this weekend she and her husband are spending time with us at our cabin. What better time than now to read it together?! 😁
Got some bargain priced steals at Barnes and Noble today!!! Can‘t wait to dig in!
There were parts of this book that were hard to read and I felt the tension and suspense big time with this one.

Next library read after Always Watching. I‘m on ch 3 and it‘s so so so good so far.
Such an amazing read!
Fast paced thriller. Finally. I was beginning to think it was a dying genre.
The narrative at times can be incredibly difficult, not only by way of imagery, but because of the extreme violence that Stevens takes on (rape, murder, abuse). Some readers may find the writing powerful based on the connection and empathy towards the girls and their resilience, I did not, I found it incredibly disturbing and violent.
Today's #audible Daily Deal. From the author of Never Let You Go. 🎧
I know I'm a day late for this one, but hey what else is new?!? Think I have enough books with "girl" in the title?! ??? #readjanuary #girlinthetitle
Parts of this book I loved. Parts of it frustrated me so much I couldn't stand it.
I completely enjoyed the roller coaster ride this novel took me on. The dynamic relationship between these three sisters and the events that take place were both heart wrenching and page turning. 👍
Started this yesterday and I'm hooked! I usually find it hard to concentrate on reading and relaxing when I'm at home but this book has completely sucked me in. Such fluid writing that flows so easily you hardly realise you're half way through 👍😀
Love creepy books and this is not disappointing me! Just on chapter 2 and I'm hooked!
I just couldn't get into this book.
