Snowdrifts | 
It‘s the perfect day to stay in & read. Don‘t have to work or go anywhere. Already finished a book while snow was falling—we got all this within 2-3 hours. What we‘re all dreading here in Kentucky is the next phase, which I can hear now—ice. I‘ll be doing some chores & starting my next book.
tpixie Beautiful & dangerous. In Central South Kansas, we first got the ice and now about 2 inches of snow. My sister in Northeast Kansas is getting a lot more snow. ⛄️ 1mo

marleed @Scochrane26 @Tpixie I‘m in Kansas City (Prairie Village specifically) and we are getting pounded with 4 different cycles of moisture in this storm. PV has piles of old trees and overhead power lines. I still have power and wi-fi - fingers crossed this remains my case🤞 (edited) 1mo

Scochrane26 @tpixie @marleed Apparently, we are getting more ice overnight. I‘m sure there will be power outages because my trees already have ice from the first round. I‘m hoping to keep electricity. I did last time we had a storm like this—years ago. Stay safe! 1mo

tpixie @marleed oh yes! You are getting slammed! I grew up at 99th and Antioch. My sister used to live at 71st and Mission- about 3 years ago she moved closer to 83rd and Lee Blvd. You keep warm and safe! 1mo

Scochrane26 @tpixie Wow, that‘s a lot! I now have beautiful ice on my trees, but they‘re holding up well. Supposed to get more snow by this afternoon -1-3 in. It won‘t be a record amount, I don‘t think. 1mo
tpixie @Scochrane26 ice on trees is so beautiful. I‘m glad they are handling the weight. Hopefully you won‘t get too much snow. I did get to stay home from work today and sleep in so that was fun. I plan to read most of the day! I suspect they canceled work because too many employees had to stay home with their kids since school was canceled. 1mo
