Set in 1939 #NYC, World of #Tomorrow was bound to end up on my #tbr list. Yet at a daunting 560 pages, it hasn‘t made it to currently reading since it went on the tbr in 2017.

For those who read chunksters, how do you keep from being intimidated and what strategies do you use to make it through?

Tee hee hee! I like to go on my library‘s electronic services site and occasionally search for newly added books. Sometimes I hit the jackpot and find books that were just added and grab them no waiting!!! Today was one of those days!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I'm going to bail on this one too 🙁. Way too many characters with stories in all different directions. I'm all for different points of view, but I'm 10% in and probably have been introduced to 15 characters already. There isn't enough spent on them for me to even get attached before we are on to someone else. I would give this a try another time - not just isn't the right time for me.

Love this cover so much. I'm only 6% in, but it hasn't hooked me yet. Hoping as I go I get a little more into it. 🗽🚢🌇
