We have a 1/10 ownership in a beach home in the Outer Banks. I proposed starting a small “need a book - take it, have a book - leave it” and I‘m happy to see it has grown a bit. 😃📚

SandyW Way to cluttered (I liked the sea view one much better). All I can think of is how much crap there is to dust in that room. And the red is too oppressive for me. 7y

lyradora Looks staged, not lived in. A lived in library has mushed chairs and couches from butts being in them all the time, lots of pillows, comfy blankets, random drink cups scattered around, piles of books filled with bookmarks, and ready access to the books (meaning no clutter on the shelves). 7y

While patrolling my area, I found a little free library! I‘m planning on pitching it to my chief to have the PD put more of these around our city. Wish me luck. #littlefreelibrary

This is our little rural library @Fridayfilms ! Not much to look at but at least we can still borrow books from any library in Saskatchewan. My gig here is very part-time as we are only open 3 days a week and I‘m the “spare.” I love It, though. Nice and quiet 😉

This is our newest Free Little Library all decked out for Christmas. I was not in the loop but it seems that my neighborhood thought it would be great to have one just for kids books.Since they reside next door to each other, easy for everyone to visit.I spy with my little eye “Green Eggs and Ham.”👍

Just wanted to post this! I live in a small town. We only have three red lights. This is on a country road (a backroad) not far from my house. I could not believe it when I came up on it. It even had Ribsy by Beverly Cleary! I am in love! ❤️

So psyched for my new neighborhood library, the Noe Valley Sally Brunn Branch of the San Francisco Public Library. Like many good books, it is small and beautiful. And a short walk from my house! I think I‘m going to like it here.

The struggle was real but this Little Free Library is now open for business. This is my daughter's Girl Scout Silver Project. She worked so hard on this, I hope it's a success!

Cortg @readinginthedark Purchase a kit from LFL! We used an old cabinet, cut plywood for the sides/roof, added leftover siding & shingles. Her "problem" was she didn't leave enough overhang over the door. She rectified this by adding a strip of a vinyl door trim. She also had a gap in the door due to painting. She added weather stripping but we'll have to replace occasionally over time. It was definitely a learning but good experience. 7y
