Trees is a cute picture book about what trees are, what they look like during different seasons, where they grow, and what they do for us. The use of color in the book related to the area of the tree or characteristic of a tree the author was describing. For example, the illustrator used warm, orangish brown colors when describing the roots in the ground and calm bluish gray colors when describing trees in the clouds.
All of the pictures seemed to just flow from page to page and I really liked all of the different hues of the colors throughout the book

I liked all of the different shades of pink and blue within the story; it made the book very calming
We did a little “light” pruning this weekend before we put up our Little Free Library (don‘t want any branches falling on it!). The support pole and surrounding garden goes in this weekend!!!
I took a leisurely walk with my dog this morning and couldn't resist taking a few pictures of the trees in bloom.
#FallIntoReading Day 7: Fats did a #Nature themed post a year ago. From her review: Trees gives tribute to the perennial plants of nature. Every page describes the characteristics of trees, explains their importance, and recognizes how marvelous they are. Lemniscates Studio was founded in Barcelona by a Spanish artist named Carme. Since its publication, Trees had been translated in English and Korean. Full post: https://wp.me/pDlzr-g6T
