While I'm good with variety posts, I'm rather new here on Litsy and only know the Litsy as it has been since my joining this magical community.
I find Litsy a safe place, a gathering place that serves a community of members like a mom and pop bookstore. We recognize one another if we visit often. We learn about one another, celebrate each other, offer emotional support, etc.

pickWith Christmas stories, both movies and books, my favorites will always be the ones that build on the foundation of the Holiday. Where the storyline can't just edit out a few scenes or chitchat for the story/characters to easily be transported to another season.
This wasn't festive throughout, yet it would have been weird if it had been, due to the disaster.

1- we made our first batch of Easter/Springtime empanadas, and my mom made Apple Butter out of the leftover filling 😋🍏🥟🍎💝.

The Stock Market took a second-day tumble. Many are holding tariffs responsible, and as true as that may be, I am hoping that this is the beginnings of consumers finally uniting!

It has been 31 Days since little t has been in office...the chaos he has already caused America! And out of the 100 day countdown, we still have 69 days!
Time to fill up my coffee bean box, it is a mixture of three types of coffee. Coffee is my remedy to remain calm ☕🇺🇲🦅🇺🇸🙏.
I think I'm going to need a bigger stash of coffee beans for the remainder of the 3years+.

Doll-like figure with a beaded read dress fastened onto the Native Medicine Wheel.
The red dress represents the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Woman and Girls. Wanted to include a red hand, yet I always preferred the dress symbol. Both symbolize the same cause.

pickChristmas vibes weren't really captured here, yet the storyline was good and the characters were likable.
This is about second chances, about escaping living under the influence of a toxic friendship, about not being a people pleaser to those who refuse to value you, and about self discovery.
This was really good, although the the most spicy of Christmas books I have read, which was unexpected 🌶️👀😂.
