Oh I have already completed my April #bookspin! I‘m sort of proud of myself - my record with bookspin is not good! Anyway, this one is a cute romantic comedy- sort of felt like reading a movie! 👍👍

Whew- squeezed in this November #bookspin! Fresh romcom with Mia, a famous actress in disguise, and Paul, an author, meeting one another in Paris. Not initially looking for one another but relationship develops. Left me wanting to read more books by Levy.
This is a sweet rom-com and a quick read. The writing style is a little different and this may be due to translation as it wasn‘t originally written in English. A great story to escape into.
PS from Paris by Mark Levy was our June choice for #IllSeeYouInParis challenge.
What a fun selection for June. A rom with a little bit of com 😉 When famous actress Mia needs a break from her Career, her husband, her life, She runs off to Paris to hide in plain sight With a slightly altered appearance. Through deception and high jinks she meets Paul, an American author living in Paris. The two become friends but, (cont in comments)
When I bought this book for kindle 1-2 years ago, I wanted a cute, fluffy, romance book, & that‘s what it is. A writer & a movie star (who is hiding her identity) meet in a comedic way & end up friends & eventually more. It was humorous & a quick read. I always enjoy books set in Paris. Using this for my library‘s challenge-a book translated into English. Also, it‘s my #doublespin for May. @TheAromaofBooks
1. Tagged book, read a few pages in a shady spot while out hiking today. Still listening to I Was Anastasia
2. I reread Wild Birds back in February, it has 6 short stories.
3. A Discovery of Witches-579 pages. Still sporadically reading an Outlander book that is longer.

Not what I expected but I enjoyed Mia and Paul‘s ride. I really enjoy books that take me to places I have yet to visit physically.
An enjoyable romance to listen to on audible. Bit of a cool plot twist at the end that I didn‘t expect.
Kept me interested. Couldn't tell how it was going to end, which is nice and rare these days.
I have a love hate relationship with this book. I feel like while the writing is good the characters could use more dynamic. The writing style was hard to get used to because I don't usually read books that are written in the two MC's points of view.
Super cute and well written book. Definitely cheesy, but it contained some great, quotable lines. Good, lighthearted read.
A love story with some twist. This was translated from French and I feel some of it was lost a little (story went off track in some spots). However even with that this was a cute story
I just finished listening to this book this past weekend. I have seen everyone in Instagram saying it‘s a cute read.... and that‘s the exact word I would use, cute. Not in a bad way at all. It‘s the unromantic romantic fairy tale. It‘s a quick listen so I would imagine quick read that was the perfect palate cleanser in between all my murdery books!
Well, I really liked it. Engaged me from the first paragraph and breezed through it in less than a day. I have read some heavier books lately and this came at the perfect time. I also picked it for it‘s cover. So a surprise win for me. Im glad I didn‘t read the negative feedback before reading. Just so cute
This book is so cute. Just what I needed after reading a few heavier books
This was adorable. It sucked me in completely. 💖📚🇫🇷
I should not be allowed near the library. But I only picked TBR books. Nothing totally new. Oh and I already read that one on the bottom but was embarrassed to tell them I didn't need it anymore. Lol. 💖📚
P. S. from PARIS is a delightful romantic comedy set in the City of Love. It‘s a fast-paced and light read perfect for a day at the park or on the beach. The Paris descriptions are enjoyable and many of the scenes will make you smile. P.S. from PARIS is recommended for those who just want something a little light and funny topped with a scoop of romance. https://lharvey250.tumblr.com/post/171184444799/p-s-from-paris-marc-levy-my-rati...
Oh my goodness, I struggled through this book. I wasn't even sure what was going on through most of it. Do yourself a favor, and don't read this one. 😳
It took me a while to get into this. For the first 20% or so I felt I might be reading a sequel as it didn‘t seem to knit together well. I even went online to check and it was only then that I realised it was translated from French (and I‘ve even read some of Levy‘s novels in French - I just hadn‘t clicked!). Once I realised I was reading a ‘French‘ novel it all fell into place and I relaxed and enjoyed it, if that makes sense.....
I‘m 0/2 so far in 2018. Honestly, I don‘t pan books often. I just couldn‘t get behind the characters, their motivations or the plot with this one. Maybe something is lost in translation. I found the characters unlikable, the plot implausible and too many inconsistencies of character to really enjoy this story. That being said, it was a quick read and I held on until the end to see how it would play out. ⭐️⭐️/5
Reading before work this morning. These characters are bugging me. What is she doing on a dating site so soon after deciding it‘s over, if she‘s so in love with her husband (regardless of what a jerk he is)? She‘s continually dishonest. I don‘t like her at all. And yet, I have to keep reading to find out how this plays out....maybe to see if this author can save this plot with some more character development.
I'm laying here listening to @Lucas.Rencher snore, and I'm not even sleepy. 😴
Soo, I'm starting a new Kindle book! I accidentally got this one, so maybe it was a sign that I just needed to read it?
Up next! This was my Amazon First pick a few months ago. Looking for light and quick after my last read. #clearmyshelves #evendigitalones
Does anyone else feel like once you get past that 50% mark the end comes up pretty fast? This story isn't bad but I can't wait for it to be over.

Edit: 🌟🌟🌟
Starting this on my phone while I wait for the chiropractor to get to me. Thank goodness for kindle on my phone! #KindleTBR
The long weekend has been a way to catch up finally on my reading. This new release from Marc Levy is a great start. A successful actress and a publicity shy novelist starts out as strangers, begin the journey as friends and ends up as more than that when they are in Seoul. Along the way they also find the courage to truly become themselves. It's a dialogue driven romantic comedy that will keep you laughing, thinking and smiling till the end😊
My kindle first pick for the month. Reviews say it's a light, heart-warming, funny romance and it sounds like just the thing for my trip to San Diego in 10 days.
I love the first of the month. I chose " P.S from Paris " as my kindle first.
I think I'm going to skip August BOTM NONE of the books are calling out to me.
This beautiful book arrived this morning! 😍

I love to read stories set in Paris!❤️
