Different and rambling in parts but interesting enough to keep me reading to the end. Didn't end how I thought it would and it finished well. Worth a read.

Really loved this book. I was attached to the main characters and liked them very quickly. I loved that it was set in 1995 and that this was obvious and yet skilfully done. The mystery was interesting and gripping and the plot was fast paced. The imagery and language was beautiful and sad. I will definitely be looking out for further works from this author.

This is a book I'll recommend to everyone. Mesmerising and hypnotic prose, possibly the most beautifully written book I've read this year. I didn't want it to end.
