These are always fun! I was only sad that ‘that American woman‘ didn‘t make an appearance.

Georgie finally gets her man! The Royal Spyness series is now 12 books long but unlike some that get stale after awhile, Bowen continues to add new dimensions to familiar characters. It was good to see Georgie flex a bit more of hey confidence then I think we've seen before. A bit of that royal blood coming though. I also love the fact that she finally (maybe?) gets a permanent home. Lighthearted and fun to read, this won't disappoint.

Trying to get through some ARCs from netgalley this weekend and this is the 2nd I've finished.

Some things finally go right for Georgie in this one (but of course lots go wrong too). Like the rest of the series, this was fun and entertaining but rather slow at getting to the mystery.

Another Darcy I adore - the charming Darcy O'Mara. When Katherine Kellgren died last year, I couldn't imagine listening to anyone else do this series and planned to switch to print. But Rhys Bowen wrote a heartfelt note on Audible about having to pick new narrator. So I'm giving Jasmine Blackborow a chance. #audiobooksarereading #anotherdarcy #austeninaugust

I opened “Four Funerals and Maybe a Wedding” to start reading it, and an invitation to Lady Georgiana & Darcy O‘Mara‘s wedding fell out! Which might be the cutest marketing ploy I‘ve ever seen. Well done Berkley Prime Crime!
