Finished this one today. This is one of my favorite series. #SeriesLove23 and this one was really good. I found two editions to give me more points o the #NovemberISpyBingo. Hope that's ok. A book for @Rushathon This series must be read in order in order to understand what is going on. It was also over 600 pages. Rachel is really in for it this time. The ley line she tore through realities has sprung a major leak, and the Ever After is shrinking. Kim Harrison has such a talent for building up characters readers once hated and turning them into people we root for in the end. The Hollows series is great for readers that are driven by character development. #urbanfantasy

Something just didn‘t click for me with Ever After. The cover of this one is so badass, but Rachel has changed & not for the better. She did not come across as the kickass witch/day-walking demon. I had to force myself just to finish this one. I may not even bother going onto book 12 & that hurts a little. 😣 But a so-so because I have overall enjoyed the series.

The mass market paperbacks for The Hollows are the closest thing I own to deckle edge I'm afraid. The front cover is slightly narrower than the rest of the book, with a rough edge.

Do they still make books with deckle edge?

I'm going with @DuckOfDoom 's interpretation of this challenge, so this is The Ever After. Once a beautiful and prosperous other dimension home to Elves and Demons, and now a wasteland, the Ever After is an alternate version of the world. It is only accessible by ley lines although it can be viewed by certain supernaturals using their second sight 💕

Read this three years ago and don't remember a thing! Love this series, though, and I'm looking forward to finally finishing it! (The bookmark was a gift from a friend who runs The Upcycled Closet on Etsy).
