This one is the 1st book in the Wheel Of Time series & is one of the best out of the 14 books it encompasses. Setting up the magic system, the main players & the world that is one of the most intricate & involved out of all the fantasy series I‘ve read. I highly recommend reading this if that kind of story told well is what you‘re after.

Graywacke @Lizpixie i like that, your dreams as your own fan fiction. I was only briefly a fantasy reader. But i have a soft spot for Jordan and his style. His way of staying and keeping in the moment also still appeals to me. (Sanderson never could quite capture that, although I love what he did to finish the series) (edited) 1w

Lizpixie @Graywacke I know what you mean. Sanderson just doesn‘t have Jordan‘s knack for the intricacies of characters either, for the last few books most of the MCs are just different and it throws me off when I‘m reading too.🤷🏻‍♀️ 1w
