I didn‘t get any good pictures, but the dance was a blast! Brian and I had fun dancing with both kids, and they were thrilled to socialize with their friends. Being autistic, social interaction can be a struggle for Genevieve, so it was so comforting to see her dance and let loose with her friends. 🥰

They‘re asleep now so I‘m off to finish the last 40 pages of The Haunting of Hill House. 👻

I‘ll be #waiting a little longer than usual to finish my book tonight because we have a family dance at the elementary school tonight!

The theme is Hollywood, so I just picked up some fun things for the girls to wear. I plan on doing two Dutch braids and going as Kim K. I told my husband to wear his hoodie with his hood pulled up and he can be Yeezy. 🤣🤣🤣

RebL Ha! I was asked to chaperone the Winter Formal tonight. My daughter said, “NO!” and then to soften the blow, “That was cool freshman year, but....” 7y

BookishMarginalia @RebL we have 20 adult volunteers to 168 expected student attendees, so it‘s a great ratio to cut down shenanigans 💪🏻— our kids are pretty good anyway but we teachers are prepared 🤓 7y
