This was subpar.I didn't have high expectations for a cozy mysteries.

I couldn't stand Amy. She is ridiculous with the back and forth on her relationship with Richard. She feels she is not good enough for him because she's overweight and he's hot. Snore.

Apparently I read this four years ago according to Goodreads. I only remember the plot from the past (a long ago murder is part of the book), so I assumed I‘d read a similar plot in another book. I remember none of the many characters and nothing that happened in the present.

Next up on audio book TBR list

This is the first in the series and I really enjoyed. The murders were very well done. I'm really looking forward the next book in the series

How many books do you take with you when you travel?

Unlike @Pamwurtzler I was into this mystery at the beginning and didn‘t find it clunky until the end. Set in a small Virginia town, old secrets begin to bubble to the surface leading to a murder in the library. Solidly enjoyable with characters I would read about again! 3 ⭐️

I‘ll give this a solid okay rating. It seemed a little clunky at first and I had a hard time paying attention to it, but it got better as it went along.

This was just meh...not sure I am built for Cozy mysteries.

Took twice as long as it should have for some reason but I finally finished this. Pretty good cozy mystery set in small town with librarian main character.
