5 posts | 4 read | 1 to read
From USA Today bestselling author Dionne Lister comes an exciting new paranormal cosy mystery series. All it takes is one morning for Sydney Photographer Lily Bianchi's life to go off the rails and over a cliff. A well-dressed English woman turns up at her door, swearing she's a witch. If thats not crazy enough, she explains Lilys brother, James, has been kidnapped and the Paranormal Investigation Bureau needs Lilys help finding him. And the craziest part? The Englishwoman tells Lily she's a witch too. Before she can say, Wheres my coffee? shes on a plane bound for Westerham, England. Unfortunately, Englands not as welcoming as she hoped--she's barely arrived before she gets set up, arrested and almost shot. Things can only get better from here, right? Yeah, right

'English accented chatter' It's great that everyone speaks in a West Country accent!

This is a low key cosy paranormal mystery. The MC is obnoxious. I liked the magic world and thought her power was interesting but I wasn't invested in the book.

oh, this was just such a good read! I picked it up last month for the second part of the Fates and Fortunes readathon, hosted by the lovely @Vee_Bookish, and I was hooked from the getgo.... fast forward to now, and I'm eagerly waiting for book 14!

I felt lost through some of this book; however, I find the overall plot and characters like able. I‘m intrigued enough to read more of the series. I do love me anything paranormal and I have a guess that there may be some romance in the other books. I‘m using this for #armchairtravel for #booked2020. This is also book #2 for my 5 books in 7 days challenge for my local bookstore

Reading in front of a fire with a summery drink because it‘s April and it shouldn‘t be as cold as it is to warrant a fire!

This is a cute, supernatural cozy mystery. Australian photographer Lily is hit with a double whammy when she finds out her brother is missing and she‘s a witch! She travels to England to help her sister-in-law find him and learn more about her powers. It was a bit obvious at who the kidnapper was but I still enjoyed the story. #arc #netgalley
