Holy wowza @Jess7! This box was so awesome. Thank you so much!! I can not wait to read all of these books! Some I haven't heard of but sound so good. Love the shirt, #Shadow has already claimed it and is currently rolling around on it. #CatsAreWeirdWill do the puzzle once we are in the new house! #ThankYou #LitsyPenPals #LitsyPenPalExchange
There has been so much written about Amanda Knox but this was her story. Listened to it on audio narrated by Amanda. It was good.
Always reading, even during cardio 👍🏻 where's everybody's favorite place to read??
My pick for the #ReadingWomenMonth Challenge: Day 27: #Memoir is 📚Amanda Knox's #WaitingtoBeHeard 📚If you enjoyed the Netflix special, followed her case, or if you're just curious to find out more about what really happened - this book is for you. It is well written and very interesting. #AmandaKnox #TrueCrime #Netflix
I remember back to the time this murder took place and the subsequent trial. The media sure painted her as guilty and that's what I assumed. That was until I read this story. If you like true crime, mysteries, memoirs, or detective stories then this is a must read. I read it as an ebook.
I remember watching this story on Dateline shortly after the murder. And then following the story over the years. Amanda Knox did a great job writing her memoir! It's amazing how much the media blew things out of proportion back then. Of course, the treatment she received from the Italian police was ridiculous. Excellent narration by the author.
I've been interested in Amanda Knox and her ordeal since the beginning, and I have always been positive that she is innocent. The Italian government and "justice system" just infuriates me. I'm glad that I was able to read this and get her point of view. I can't imagine what she went through and still goes through because of ignorant, arrogant people. I can't imagine how I'd feel if that were my daughter. And I'm grateful for her that she's home.
I always wondered if she really did it. I'm only halfway through and I definitely think the media swayed the truth a lot. Well see how this ends...
Picked this up after watching the documentary on Netflix. Absolutely crazy how headlines can affect judgement even in court cases, this entire case now baffles me reading and seeing it from multiple point of views. Definitely recommend this if you want a refresher on the insanity of the case, and to read her side of the story since she wasn't exactly listened to during the trial.
We were literally just discussing the case at Rosh Hashanah dinner last night. So ironic that it's on sale today. #ebookdeal
Her story stirs up very passionate opinions about whether she was guilty or innocent so I'll keep my opinion to myself but her book is definitely a 🌟🌟🌟🌟 read
I listen to this audiobook narrated by author Amanda Knox. I still have some mixed feelings on her side of the story, but overall it was a detailed, emotional book that I would recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Went from fiction to conviction with my audiobook choices. 1 "part" in and already having lots of feelings.
