#SelfImprovementSept - Flowers: Backyard along the fence line. Most years I am surprised if I get to enjoy blooming flowers in late summer, because of the many crazy hailstorms that we have throughout the season. Usually there is extensive damage in the wake of these storms. This year was a good year. The lower right photo is from my sister-in-law‘s garden. She is an amazing flower-whisperer. My success is totally luck-based!😳

A habit I got into when I found myself single for the first time in my adult life 6 years ago was buying myself #flowers. It‘s always nice to receive flowers from your SO, but it‘s just as satisfying to buy yourself something pretty

Hooked_on_books You‘re so welcome! I‘m glad they arrived in good shape. It‘s actually good to know they can tolerate being shipped in Texas heat. I hope you enjoy them. If you trim the stems about a half inch, they should last longer. ☺️ 5y

Hooked_on_books @Soubhiville Yes, you‘re the farthest. We‘ve shipped to California and Oregon. I‘m building the website so we‘ll be able to ship anywhere in the states when that is up and running. It looks like the white ones got a little buggered up, so clearly we need to work on that. But the tulip varieties look great! 5y

Soubhiville Maybe the white ones are more susceptible to the heat? A few of them got a little bruised and browned/ yellowed just a bit. 5y
