I needed a fun, quick summery read to take a break from my other book and this one did not disappoint! The author did a wonderful job of taking me back to Woodstock and capturing the atmosphere of the time and the biggest concert ever. Michael and Cora are two teenagers destined for an epic summer romance while struggling with their own lives and struggles.
I finished this book in one day because I couldn't put it down! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This was a super fun, super quick read set against the backdrop of legendary music festival Woodstock. There, opposites Cora and Michael meet, and spend a three day weekend together that will change their lives for the better. The story is well paced and full of heart. The music references are fun, and though Woodstock happened before I was born, I could picture it clearly with the author's words and imagery.
My plans for today got cut short when the transmission in my car died. So, my new plan is to #read until it's an appropriate time of day to drink tequila. Because I can adapt like that...
@Mccall0113 thank you so much for the delightful #cupidgoespostal gifts!! These two books look wonderful and I can wait to start reading! One can never have too much chap stick, the magnet is going directly on my fridge, and Valentine's Day is never complete without chocolate, especially with a unicorn on the box ❤️ the card is ??perfect for me as a designer! Inside it says "I'm very font of you"... I love it!!
I'm really surprised that this was the "least popular" book I read this year! It's about a young girl and guy who end up meeting at Woodstock and their connection over those few days. It was a light, fun read and more people should check it out. Just sayin'!!
Edit: I just checked and saw I posted all but one of the posts on Litsy about this book! Get on it, Littens!
I have been super busy and am WAY behind on my #augustofpages #bookphotochallenge ! Forgive the spam while I catch up!
Day 21: #booksandmusic A cute boy meets girl story set at Woodstock, which I absolutely adored because I met my boyfriend at a concert☺️ I also use concert ticket stubs as bookmarks! 🎶🎹🎶😎
Well said, Michael Michaelson. I couldn't go to sleep without finishing the whole book. I felt like I was actually at Woodstock, and now I'm just jealous that I wasn't. What an amazing, one of a kind event. Great, fun read.
A few of my favorite things... 😍
Covering at one of the clinics tonight and it's super slow, so I can finally start this! I'm looking forward to reading a love story set at a music festival, because I met my boyfriend at a concert! 😎🎶
There were times when this was a bit predictable, but I don't mind. The music references were fantastic (Woodstock!).
