I love this place and these characters. Thankfully, I still have a few other Hilderbrand books to read. I also read this on the beach in St. John & loved that small parts of this book were set there.

Elin Hilderbrand‘s books really go down easy. I have not read all her books in order but every time, I start out thinking all these people are awful, but she finds a way to make you care about them. (I really wanted to shake the daughter character throughout, though.) I enjoyed this as a fun start to my #AuldLangSpine reading for January.

MallenNC @Jerdencon I‘m in North Carolina and we‘re finally getting some winter temps here. It was kind of nice to “be” in the summer with this book. I have only read a few of her books. I can tell why she‘s so popular. 1mo
