I enjoyed listening to the audiobook of this book. I wanted to try something different while I crochet and do house work. I loved the history of the world building. It reminds me of Lord of the Rings in a way. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 stars.

Because I might be semi obsessed with GoT! Never thought that would happen 🤣
#LittensDressedInBlood #Day19 #HeadsWillRoll Heads come off left & right all the way through this series. Don‘t get attached to a character coz it‘s highly probable that something awful will happen to them by the next book, with the blameless as well as the evil being killed in so many different ways. There‘s beheadings, poison, stabbings & death by dragon, not to mention battles & a few tortured to death!
I finished reading #theworldoficeandfire last night. I‘ve been reading it since January. I‘ve just added it to my #readinglog. Now, I can focus on finishing up another book I‘ve started.
This is my review for #theworldoficeandfire that I finished last night. If George never finishes the book series then I‘m going to be okay with that because I feel like I spent enough time immersed in this world by reading this book with the history in it. I‘m ready to read something else for awhile.
These pictures are from this book that I finished last night. They‘re so beautiful.

🎵It‘s a nice day for a Red Wedding 🎶👰 🎩 💒
I am in such awe of George R. R. Martin because can create a whole different world with its own history and lore. It‘s basically a history book so it can come off as dry to some readers. The book covers every event in Westeros history including information about lands beyond Westeros. The illustrations were stunning and my favorite part of the book.
Especially for @AlaMich 😘
Thanks for all (after all)
#GOT
Found some new notebooks today while I was out and supposed to be buying shoes.
I am one spoiled momma today! The little music box plays the GOT theme💞 Another beautiful book for my GOT collection. A pin and book bag from one of my favorite podcasts-My Favorite Murder💖 And a bunch of gardening items (some not shown-already planted/in use)
My kids are so thoughtful!
March 1st tbr read selfie 😊
Yay!!! my sis just drop off this book and a B&N gift card for my bday 🎉🎉
Want a little backstory? Hoo boy!
Deep fried turkey was a huge hit! The last of the family have gone...a bit of cleaning up to do then nothing but reading and cold turkey sandwiches on the agenda for the next 3 days! I love Christmas, but for us it falls into two distinct halves...first half is crazy full on, second half is mellow. I look forward to that bit!

Christmas Eve is the best! Love my #jolabokaflodswap ...... This fabulous book and marzipan chocolate! That‘s my night sorted. Thank you so much @Lel2403 🙏💕🙏💕🙏💕🙏💕🙏
#WinterWonderland Day 12: A veritable #FireAndIce, think of this as a historical tome of a book exploring the many lands and characters in Westeros and beyond. One of those chunksters that I did manage to finish reading - mainly because of the exquisite art found inside. Add the fact that I am an unapologetic GoT fan.
Omg @Chrissyreadit you were beyond generous in this swap!! Thank you so much for all the items! I will be planning my first LoTR marathon here soon!! The bookmark is gorgeous! Coffee smells amazing (I‘ll be brewing that here in a moment!), & I didn‘t even know about this GoT Book which is perfect! Happy open day & I hope you like ur items as much as I adore all mine! Thank you so much ❤️! #aswapoficeandfire #asoiaf @jenniferw88 Thanks for hosting!
Repurposed Amazon boxes and John Krasinski‘s face FTW! @Kindredanne this #ASOIAF box is rocketing its way through space and time towards you! Should arrive 9/17.
I thoroughly enjoyed the depth and character this book brings to the already complex world of Westeros and Essos. It provides background and context to areas that have yet to be touched by the narrative of A Song of Fire and Ice. I am continually amazed at the worlds that fantasy writers bring to life! I just wish The Winds of Winter would be released already. Am I right?
