Panda would like to remind me there are three other cats in the house who could be Litsy models. #catsoflitsy
A quick YA contemporary romance about a Deaf girl who is given the chance to escape her abusive father by a famous rock star. I enjoyed this. #romantsy
Reading this library book in bed with my four handsome boys. Not pictured: Aral, who is pretending the other three don't exist and is on the other side of the bed. #catsoflitsy
This YA book, which my MIL gave me as a bday gift b/c she met the author, has probably the worst example of #firstimpressions. Deaf girl meets rock star, and he‘s a total jerk at their first meeting, as seen above.
In fact it made me so mad that I stopped reading right then and there, on page 17 😡!! In no hurry at all to try it again 😬.

Apparently they‘ll fall in love with each other and all that 🙄 .
I‘m overwhelmed by all your birthday wishes — have not had a chance to respond to all yet 💖. You Littens are the best😘!
Thought I‘d share my bookish loot 😊
📚YA romance from my MIL. Not a genre I normally read; she met the author and thought I might like reading it. MC is Deaf, like me. I‘m always curious how they‘re portrayed.
📚 Three lovely book sleeves that my mom made!
📚shirt I couldn‘t resist when hubby took me clothes shopping!
This cover is beautiful, isn't it? I adore it! I can't wait to read #ToneDeaf by #OliviaRivers. I know it's another #contemporary and I'm more of a fantasy person, but after reading Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, I'm willing to explore the genre a bit more. 😊

This is another photo that I've taken from my #bookstagram. 💙
This book wasn't horrible but it wasn't awesome either. It's a cheesy but cute YA romance.
I really liked that Ali was different then other leading ladies in books. I didn't like how fast she feel in love with Jace, who was a huge ass. Some parts were completely unbelievable. I wish we could have delved more into both Ali and Jace's fathers. The ending felt rushed.
This was a quick and easy read but not one of my favorites.
⭐⭐⭐
I totally binge read this book in one sitting! It was so good! I loved how Olivia Rivers wove together this story of two teens with troubled pasts and how they move on to loving one another. The only thing I had issue with was the romance did feel rushed. Otherwise 👌🏻 novel. 4⭐️
