An explanation to the backdrop of my last post; we just got back from New York! New York Littens, we fell hard for your city ❤️. It was a jam-packed trip - the first visit for our two teenagers - but I managed a *little* book shopping. I was disappointed with Barnes and Noble, but the lovely Books are Magic in Brooklyn made up for that; I spent a wonderful hour or two browsing and buying, so absorbed I missed the earthquake!

The first bookstore we visited was Books are Magic and we went to their store at 122 Montague St which turned out to be the perfect starting point for a visit to Brooklyn Heights.

We had a little misunderstanding with the taxi driver, because who visits a bookstore? So he drove a little further down the road and we discovered a fantastic viewpoint of the financial district and Brooklyn Bridge.

Loved the bookstore as well.

AnneCecilie @UwannaPublishme Especially when they have books in a language you can read and there buy books. I find it less fun when I visit countries where I don‘t speak the language. 1y
