Key Lime Pie Murder
Key Lime Pie Murder | Joanne Fluke
10 posts | 27 read | 8 to read
It promises to be a busy week for Hanna Swensen. Not only is she whipping up treats for the chamber of commerce at the fair; she is also judging the banking contest, acting as a magician's assistant for her business partner's husband; trying to coach Moishe, her previously rapacious feline, to en his hunger strike, and performing her own private carnival act by juggling the demands of her mother and sisters.

Another quick, light cozy mystery. I really do enjoy this series.

Mehso-so

These books continue to be only so-so, but this one was exactly what I needed after having read too much heavy literature. Plus there‘s a recipe for deep-fried candy bars that I think I need to try.

Texreader Even if not so great sometimes a cozy mystery is just what is needed 2y
cdreincarnate @Texreader Yep. That‘s why I keep coming back to this series. 2y

These aren‘t my favorite cozy mysteries but they are quick reads, especially since half the books are recipes. I‘d love some key lime pie but I‘ll have to settle for yogurt. #PieontheCover #MagnificentMarch

OriginalCyn620 I used one of the books in this series too! The covers are cute! I might give one a try. 🥧 5y
MallenNC @OriginalCyn620 I‘ve read the first one and then some random ones in the series (out of order). They are fast reads. 5y

Listening to this I got very hungry for pie. 😁

Christine11 That looks so yummy! 😍 7y
mabell @Christine11 Thanks! It was an easy recipe, too. Joanne Fluke has some good ones! 7y
Gissy A murder pie, just what I need! 😆 7y
mabell @Gissy Exactly! Who would have thought a murder mystery would make you hungry! 😂 7y

I can see I was very opinionated about books back in 2007 too: "I almost fell asleep reading, in fact I dropped the book two time[s]. The book is really boring. It's called Key Lime Mu[r]der. Good thing I'm almost through it." ? On a side note, journaling and reading throughout the years have helped me perfect my spelling and grammar skills ?

My favorite pie is Key Lime. I make one at least a few times a year. To celebrate Pi Day, here is a selection from JoAnne Fluke. I have read a few from this series and they are really well-written cozy mysteries. #marchintoreading #pi

jpmcwisemorgan I love this series. It's one of the best cozies out there. 8y
