Journal entry from 2008. I've always been into the mystery genre, but went through the "Twilight" phase when the series was new & popular, of course. For 13 year old me, the series was "too much of love part" for me (probably would still have the same feeling ?).

I can see I was very opinionated about books back in 2007 too: "I almost fell asleep reading, in fact I dropped the book two time[s]. The book is really boring. It's called Key Lime Mu[r]der. Good thing I'm almost through it." ? On a side note, journaling and reading throughout the years have helped me perfect my spelling and grammar skills ?

I'm BACK with a pile of old #journals ranging from 2005 to 2010 in attempt to get my reading game back on and become more active on #Litsy

I cannot believe how many followers I have gained since I was on a reading/Litsy hiatus. I will go through and follow some of you back tomorrow! 👍

I've been stuck in a #ReadingSlump! 😕 I think part of the cause is the stress of starting a new job is just tiring me out. I'm hoping a daily reading checklist will help me get out of this slump 🖒 Any other tips out there?

I watched #Lion for the third time last night. I started the book at the beginning of the weekend and I'm about halfway through it now. I LOVE the movie (bawl every time); so far I like the book better than the movie because there's added details that the movie leaves out and doesn't have all the movie "fluff."

#MrsMcGintysDead by #AgathaChristie is a #Pick! Though I wasn't clever enough to solve the murder mystery, it had plenty of twists and clues throughout the book that kept me up for many late night readings.
