It‘s Friday night, and I am happily trapped under this precious kitty. My book is good and my wine glass is full. It may not sound exciting to some, but it‘s good for me. 💕
pickI'm still here Litsy friends, just takes me a longer to read books since I'm studying for my law degree. This one was a pretty good addition to the series. The romance was a bit... forced? sudden? I usually ignore the romance in UF but in this book it was not there one minute, then suddenly there the next. The description of their first love-making was "I went there." ? Story was good though.
1. Rest, sleep, read, clean, try not to stress about work.

I'm afraid I'm still on my very first book of the new year. My new job, though absolutely fabulous, is kind of kicking my butt at the moment. I love it, but I'm coming home mentally exhausted at night, and not getting much reading done. I'm hoping that will change as I adjust.
In the meantime, at least I have the Iron Druid to keep company for a few minutes before bed at night. 😁

pickThis series just keeps getting better and better. I'm doing these as audiobooks and let me tell you that the narrator just absolutely kills it! If you are a fan of The Dresden Files, or just urban fantasy in general, then this series is an absolute must. Fae, gods, vampires, witches, werewolves... take your pick. Wry humor and some general badassery just adds to the fun. Pick these up now.

I present to you a case of #translatorgonewild that just had me giggling in a bookstore. In German "Erwischt" means something like "Gotcha!" and not really "Trapped", as it should .... ? it is not completely wrong, but I don't think it generates the right feeling.
Granuaile is full of kickassery and spunk. I'm smitten with her as well................................... I would write more but I have a bookhangover AND I started an amazing new job today. Took my latest read to the beach to catch some fresh air after 3 days of overcast skies and one day of torrential rain. Managed to stay out for over an hour until the freezing wind drove me home (by freezing, it was under 20 degrees C - it's basically the tropics here, don't judge).
pickFifth book in the series. Awesome as always. Damn cliffhanger.
