This book was fine... A bit ridiculous, but I keep forgetting about the fact that I read it, and since it fits today's #booktober, it's a good opportunity to mark it down. I've read more entertaining riffs on fairytale, but, like I said, this was all right as far as a fluff read. I feel a bit like the cover made me think this book would be a bit more serious/darker than it was. #setinaschool

This book just kinda dumps you into the action immediately. A fun fairytale reimagining, overall I enjoyed the story but (because I was listening at work) got lost a few times when my attention was pulled from the story. Would read again though. ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
