❄️🌕Snow? Oh we got snow in CO! 12+ inches on Friday and another 4-5 this morning. And much, much more in the mountains.
❄️🌕I'm pretty cozy 95% of the time regardless of weather. 🙃 But on snow days I'm more apt to hunker down and watch a movie. Also drink hot chocolate with amaretto.

merelybookish @readinginthedark We live in Lakewood which is a suburb west of Denver, close to the foothills. Where are you heading? 5y

readinginthedark South of Denver, I think. Englewood? You're really close! We're mainly going for a wedding but plan to leave a little extra time for other things. What should I do while I'm there? Two somewhat introverted adults, a 7yo, and a 1yo. 5y

merelybookish @readinginthedark Quite close! Ive only lived here 3 years so no expert. If you have a car, I'd suggest heading out to the mountains. Even Golden (about 20 mins) west of Denver is fun. Or Red Rocks is cool. The Denver zoo or Botanical Gardens is good for kids but can be hot in summer. 5y

Megabooks @Crazeedi yes, I agree. I have so much more than some and my pain has given me empathy that has helped me in a lot of ways. I try not to think that I‘ve been in pain more years of my life than not, but it does pop in my head and people remind me of it too. (Why would you remind someone of that?!? 😂 Seriously?!? 😂😂 But at least I take bluntness in stride.) Sending you a hug back!! 5y

Megabooks @Crazeedi I think some of it is that I‘m living back in the town where I had the accident and it‘s a pretty well known event, even 22 years later. In a way I have more support here and in other ways I‘m more defined by what happened to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And you are absolutely correct. I try to be as strong as the titanium in my body!! (edited) 5y

I try not to play the “who has it best/worst” game b/c no one wins then. Everyone has joy and sorrow. It is up to me to support as many ppl as I can!! 5y

1. It has been a rollercoaster for me these past weeks. However I will recognize my strengths and accomplishments. I have not given up! I keep getting back up and facing the next day! I am stronger because of the hard stuff. I have a job I love and have made some really great new friends! I am winning at life!
2. My own mind/ fear of failure. Fear of not being good enough! I release this fear for it has no power over me! #moonreflections
