pickThis was an impulse read from the library and boy am I glad it caught my eye!! So cute and so good… it was everything I needed in a book!

This was my first time reading a book by this author so I was unsure what to expect but since the cover is so beautiful I thought the story would be too and I'm glad I was right.
There was the perfect amount of Contemporary, Romance and Comedy that made for a fun and enjoyable read!!
Can't wait to read more by Melody in the future!!!
pickSometimes you just want a stress-free, extremely low drama read. I devoured this one. I enjoyed the bits about camper renovation. An overall good summer read. This one gave me serious camping envy.

pickA standard romance with the usual angst, annoying ex and the obligatory potential rival but there was something that made me keep reading. I enjoyed the small town atmosphere as well as the vintage trailer renovation ideas and I found that I truly cared if Dillon and Jordan would finally make it work. A very well written foray into a small town ‘sea change‘ which will make you want to google vintage caravans. #NetGalley

so-soFinished this audio while working on laundry, crafts and cleaning today. I know authors don't always get a say on marketing and cover art but aside from the turquoise color banding the rest is wrong. Don't they even read the book they are promoting? The camper was an Aloha with an over cab loft for sleeping and the Adirondack chairs a coral orange. Story was just so-so, ending just felt rushed.
And that‘s a wrap for the longest school term in history! Staff are now free for 2 weeks of holidays and we will see what we go back to on the 20th April. In the meantime I plan to hunker down with my books, kindle and Audible and stay at home.

pickAnother stress-free, extremely low angst read that is perfect for #socialdistancing!! I inhaled this one. I loved the bits about gardening and the camper renovation. I really enjoyed Dillon‘s grandpa-he reminded me so much of my own grandpa. And I think Jordan, the love interest, is such a great guy. Just a fun, fun story all around.

pickThis was a fun fluff read, although it did get a little repetitive ("I think he likes me. Ohno he is talking to her so I guess he doesn't like me after all. Oh wait, I misunderstood! He DOES like me!") and felt like it could have either been shorter or delved more into some of the side issues. Overall enjoyable but not life-changing.

A few weeks ago, the view out our window was so green and bright! Now it's just snowy and dreary. 😞 But at least we have pretty covers like The Happy Camper to admire and help us dream of spring!
