Thoroughly charming. I loved the flow of this book and the cute quips and empathy throughout. It was fun seeing standalone comics that also ran along a timeline. Unpopular opinion coming:
So I have loved the other 2 unicorns diaries books and even recommended them to my 2nd graders. But this book, while very subtle, had gay parents.
I was also disappointed that more of this book didnt have camping going on.

cwarnier As a Christian and a Lutheran school teacher, I am really not for how some books sneak it in like it is no big deal. To me, it is a big deal.
Please don't get me wrong, I rated it as “pan“ due to the fact that the title lead me to believe that it would be about summer and camping. There was very little camp, and being out in nature. 4y

Heavenly nostrils book eleven is another ace in the author's wonderful series that gets the kids reading. The adventures are a bit broken-up but still lovely. And it's nice to see that Marigold is not as vain as she has been in other books. As always there are great one off Comics that are super fun to post to Litsy and a heart that I hope all children still have in finding themselves. I eagerly await the next installment.
