I am still not sure what I just read.... 2.5 ⭐️
I‘ve seen mixed reviews but I loved this one! Some very strong Behind Her Eyes vibes! Leeds and Layla fall hard and fast for each other. But when Leeds‘ ex attacks them both, Layla is left fighting for her life. 6 months later, Leeds takes Layla back to the place they met, hoping to help her further heal and push the reset button on their relationship. But things get complicated when Leeds meets Willow, another guest at the bed and breakfast.
Cringing hell.
I am not going to get into a synopsis of this book because I don‘t want to give away too much. The story started okay, but then took a nose dive. I cannot DNF - more power to those than can, but there‘s just something in me that has to see it through. I‘m so glad that I did with this one! This was one of the most satisfying endings, and the author really got me. For those that want to put this one down at 30%, stick with it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 ❤️📚
I really wanted to read the third book in the Dresden files series, but there are several holds on it already at my local library. In the meantime, decided to read this one on my kindle. ❤️📚
I‘m usually not into paranormal romance but this was just like every Colleen Hoover I‘ve read—fantastic! It was unexpected and thrilling, and I was surprised by the twist.
I read some not great reviews about this book and decided to give it a try anyway, and Im glad I did! Its suspenseful but out there.
Book 96📚 4.5⭐️
A supernatural thriller love story!🖤
😂
I loved this one! So many delicious twists!😘🤌🏻
A must add if you enjoyed Verity!💛
Everyone who has been rating this book with bad reviews either dnfed it or is stuck on one line in the book. I really enjoyed it! Yes, the beginning is slow and does make you pissed, but that ending! I loved the supernatural, I love how Colleen Hoover was able to take your perspective and completely switch it just by the ending. Amazing. 5/5
5-10-23: My 49th finished book of 2023! Layla and Leeds are meant for each other. Then one day a vicious attack on their lives leaves Layla fighting for hers. After weeks in recovery, Layla has changed and Leeds decides to bring her back to the place they met to rekindle their romance. When that doesn‘t work, Leeds finds solace in Willow, another guest at the B & B. Willow and Leeds have to made life altering decisions. This one is metaphysical.
Whilst I enjoyed this one, I wasn‘t sure about the supernatural aspect of it but it kept my attention and wanting to find out what was happening and why.

This was a very, interesting read. I loved the beginning but I feel like towards the middle it fell a little flat for me, which makes me sad because I feel like I can always count on CoHo to keep my attention. I do love that she tries to branch out to more genres than just straight romance.
In holiday chaos I forgot to post my #jolabokaflodswap! Thank you @Catsandbooks you nailed the assignment! I wish my family caught my reaction because I was over the top excited. Thank you so very much💕🎄
OH MY GOD WTF. This is off the rails, and part of me wants to give up, but at the same time, my dumb ass wants to know how far into crazyland this actually goes. 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ #layla #colleenhoover
What am I even reading? Is it supernatural? Is it a stalker? Is it the MC losing his mind? This is…really not good so far. “Reminders of Him,” I cared about the characters. This is some Romeo-and-Juliet “we just met but we‘re desperately in love!!!!!”-level dumb. #layla #colleenhoover
I read “Reminders of Him,” and it was fine. Thought I‘d give a shot to one of her others, since it was billed as more of a thriller. We‘ll see! #layla #colleenhoover
This book was good but not great. It's different from the others, that's certain.
Reading this felt like driving by a terrible car accident, I was so uncomfortable with the situation yet I had to know. I still cannot process how I feel about all of it. Halloween definitely feels like the right time of year for this book. #Scarathlon2022 #TeamSlaughter @Clwojick
This is the first one of her books that I did not like. It was just weird. It wasn't horrible, just not for me. 🤷♀️
Definitely can't tell if I enjoy this one. Its more weird than anything. Lol
Just finished this, and there is no rating I can even describe this with...this book was definitely a mindscrew and I don't know how I feel about it, I do know I liked Verity better...this was just...weird
Leeds plus bass guitar in a band. Layla is a bridesmaid in her sister‘s wedding. Leeds watches Layla as she dances to the music. She‘s the worst dancer he‘s ever seen. The wedding is held at a remote BnB and they end up falling in love. Months later, they go back to the BnB but it‘s now for sale….things aren‘t quite the same because now it‘s haunted. A really good spooky (but not scary) book for October.
A paranormal romance perfect for the #scarathlondailyprompt #ghost #teammonstermash #pointsathon #scarathlon2022 +6pts
This one has been on my TBR for a while, I‘ll get around to it eventually. 😅
Just like Hoover's book Verity, this one keeps the pages turning as the questions start to pile up. It is a creepy thriller that takes a bunch of twists and turns. Just when you think you have it all figured out, Hoover throws you completely off. This is a fast paced read and honestly a good book as we enter into spooky season!
Very different from the author's other books, but I actually really enjoyed it.
I‘ve got to say I‘m disappointed with this one. I started this one last month and kept putting it down. Decided to add it to my #bookspin list to force myself to commit. I didn‘t like it near as much as I‘ve liked her other stories. Without giving away details there is a part of this storyline that I find somewhat disturbing and this kept me from fully enjoying it. #bookspin #mayreadinglist #springread @TheAromaofBooks
