On the backside of my long trip, where I also got to visit my old stomping grounds (college). I‘m now in Joplin and continuing to enjoy the amazing fall colors in the Midwest (which my camera in no way captures 😜).

The title story is more of an extended short story & takes up around a third of the book, with 8 other short stories afterwards. This was a mixed bag of stories with Ghost Camera, Untamed Things, & A Box of Tapes being the standouts. There are some really good ideas here & I enjoyed reading them more than I usually enjoy short story collections. 3.5🌟

2 - While I wouldn't say, disliked...I read all the Twilight books (and watched all the movies) by Stephenie Meyer, and the story was good, yet I didn't go crazy for the craze.

3 - Old Kingdom Books by Garth Nix 📚📚💝.

What a great read this was! Excellent short horror novel that really packs a creepy punch!

Took this out from the library. Sounds like my type of book. #darcycoates

5⭐'s. Such a great and creepy book! It reminded me a lot of the movie Polaroid.

This was a nice little ghost story. I really enjoyed it, and I will be looking at more of her books.
