I flew through this book even though it started off rather slowly. I thought all of the characters and their flaws made for a good read!
Just a little update on #crushtherush readathon. I only started December but am currently at 23 hours and finished 4 books so far. #WinterGames2020 #MerryReaders

It was an interesting story and everyone had something to hide. The story jumps from past to present and through various characters points of view. The ending took me by surprise but it actually worked really well and the final tie ups were perfect for each family especially Jax and her mother. #Netgalley 4* 15pts TBR #WinterGames2020 #MerryReaders plus 40pts #FestiveFlicks 1pt participation 56pts

The Push is a psychological thriller about a couples baby group that has a barbecue after the births of their babies. One person ends up dead by falling off a balcony and secrets abound. Were they pushed or did they fall?
The story is told by two narrators, Jax, an older pregnant woman and Allison, a police investigator and switches between the past and present.

I really wanted to like this book, but I found it very predictable, which took a lot away from my enjoyment of the novel. I often had things figured out long before their reveal and wasn‘t surprised enough. I also think that it needed to either have less characters that are better developed, or it needed to be longer so more could be done with the characters; I honestly felt like there was a lot that was missing or was glanced over.
