panI think the second book was too much. It all happened in one day. A lot of flashbacks and horrid scenes. And the ending was made too quickly to make sense.
I had high hopes for the sequel, but I guess that was my mistake.
I'm going to start reading the sequel to 'Damned' by Chuck Palahniuk.
I want to see where he's going with this story.
Now let the comedic horror begin! I read the first one a couple years ago. Been craving to read this one. What better time than now! #booktober #muchlove
pickMadison is a thirteen-year-old girl who dies and learns that she is tasked with patching up God and Satan's relationship. For some reason, this novel felt more graphic than some of his other ones. Maybe it's because it involved animals dying? Regardless, I enjoyed it. I got a kick out of everyone eating so much candy in Hell ;)
First time reading this particular Palahniuk novel. So far I am thoroughly entertained.
