This was a fast moving, compelling thriller that I couldn‘t put down! Some of the characters were a bit confusing at first, then I realized that this was the third in a series. I managed to catch up though and couldn‘t wait to figure out the killer. I had an inkling, but still enjoyed all the twists and turns. I‘ll definitely read more by Morrissey. #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

Rounding up to a pick. Black Harbor, WI is one dark place! Kept me turning the pages, but the writing didn‘t really do it for me. I enjoyed the sections from Libby‘s POV the most. Good read for this time of year though as it is set around Halloween. #BOTM

I do recommend listening to this one instead of physically reading.

Action from start to finish! Breadcrumbs leading you down different paths as you follow the investigation through multiple POVs. Is it school bullying gone wrong? How strong is a teenager really? Who‘s that weird taxidermy kid?

Very interesting read. I was enthralled the whole time. A girl is dead and another is missing. During the hunt for the killer we meet many possible suspects. Finding the real killer was a difficult journey but the motivation seemed plausible.

Basically the same cover as Karin Slaughter‘s Pretty Girls

This was a new-to-me author and it didn‘t disappoint! Well-paced and creepy.

I really like this book. It's a "who done it" and "everyone is a suspect" story. In the town of Black Harbour, the body of a teenager is found and another is missing. Axel (detective) and Rowan thought they knew their daughter but as the investigation goes on they discover their daughter is not who they thought she is. ?
