#24 of 2024! Belladonna No. 2!

That ending! 😱😱😱 I can‘t remember the last time I finished a book grinning like a fool. The story started out as an unassuming murder mystery with some historical romance written in between a bit of the paranormal. While some parts were slow, when the things went down near the end, oh man did it SLAP! Fate himself effed around and found out! The first book in the series was 3 stars for me, but I‘m so glad I continued with book 2.
Went to a festival and one vendor had the #BlindDateWithABook bundles and lots of other cool bookish items! I may need to get one of the trays to hold my mug ☕️ and glasses 👓
You are the girl who threw herself at me like a boar.
This made me laugh!
If anybody wants to buddy read within the app Fable, I'm just at chapter 15...

Idk, this one just didn‘t really grab me. I enjoyed the first book, but this one felt like it lacked that spark, that intrinsic *thing* that makes a story readable. The characters seemed lacklustre and the storyline was too much an echo of the first. It took me a long time to finish because I didn‘t want to go back to it. Just not for me, I guess?
I loved this book! Picks up where the other left off. Great character development and storytelling. This is one of those YA series that will appeal to any reader regardless of age. #bookspin @thearomaofbooks
Signa, her cousin Blythe & Death take on Fate as secrets from the last book catch up with them.
Heavy on the atmosphere, a good second installment👻🥀

Unfortunately, I was bored more than anything while listening to this. The beginning kept me interested, but I quickly guessed what was going to happen in the rest of the book, making the middle incredibly slow. I wasn't surprised by the ending, but I did enjoy it. I actually think the next book of the series should be far more interesting than this one.
Finished Foxglove this morning and can‘t stop thinking about this series. The personas of Death and Fate are so interesting. Signa is smart, independent and yet full of love and empathy for her family. The plot is fast paced and intriguing with lots of twists and turns. Some I saw coming, some I did not. I can‘t wait for the next book, Wisteria, and already ordered the Barnes & Noble edition to match these beauties.
🤗📖📚🦊🦊🦊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ absolutely loved it a little more than the first book. Can't wait for the next book in the series
I looked on Barnes & Noble and I see that they have an Exclusive Edition of Foxglove which is the sequel to Belladonna. I preordered Belladonna and I also preordered this edition of Foxglove. I just realized when I looked at this edition that it‘s not going to have sprayed edges like my edition of Belladonna does which sucks because it‘s not going to match but that‘s okay because it‘s going to have cool stuff with it.
