I've got some company today while I relax and read, before I have to get up and do some chores. Hoping to make some progress through some of my physical TBR, which is easier to do on the weekends.

If a Hallmark movie was R-rated and very, very queer, this would be it! It could‘ve been funnier, and the cast of characters felt a bit too large for 350ish pages, but overall I enjoyed it.

Exes get a second chance in this Sapphic Christmas romance. Charlotte and Brighton haven't talked since the day they were supposed to get married. Now, 5 years later, they've both spending the holidays with friends who happen to be sisters-- and instead of explaining their past, they pretend they don't know each other at all. This wasn't my favorite Ashley Herring Blake romance, but I'm glad she's branched out into the world of holiday romance.

We read this for our romance book club, and there was a lot to love! But... so it's second chance romance, however the way the relationship ended the first time was, in my humble opinion, too high a hurdle to ever get over or want to get over. That said, I hope the author returns with another holiday romance based on the Two Turtle Doves dating event!

I only signed up for #WinterGames2024 on Thursday, so I'm hoping I wasn't too late! I've been wanting to get back into Litsy as a way of re-centering reading in my life and this will be an excellent way to jump into the deep end. 😄

Here is my TBR for the month. I've already started with the holiday romances (my post-Thanksgiving custom), but I've got plenty on hold at the library and my local bookstore. 📚

I may have already started my holiday reading! This was a really good second chance Christmas romance. Charlotte was left at the alter and goes to her friend‘s house for Christmas and her ex is also a house guest there. It‘s a very queer romance and a very music based book. Loved it!

My #bookspin is also my December #tbr. I would LOVE to get through all of these. It's gonna be a great month! Can't wait to get started on #WinterGames2024.

A redemption story with a festive Christmas backdrop… I loved the arc of these characters and the journey that they went on! Highly recommend this Christmas read!
