I stayed up late to finish this book. I was surprised considering the last few books by this author I have read I didn't care for, so I didn't have high expectations for this one. I was pleasantly surprised. It did seem a bit more serious than I was expecting, but it was still a great book.
My favorite book in months, almost of the year. I couldn‘t put it down & stayed up late to finish. Elise & Nicholas enter a contract to be a couple until Christmas Eve. A heart-warming story.
Last book of the day finished. #DashingDecember #Readathon #WinterSolstice #WinterGames2020 #ReadNosedReindeer
I liked this. It was like one of those Hallmark Christmas movies, but the more serious ones with something sad added in. I didn‘t love the characters, but I cared about them enough to finish the book. Overall a sweet Christmas time read. Three and a half stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
This had more depth than i was expecting! A man and woman who work in the same office building decide to be each others‘ dates for all the holiday parties and events, no strings attached. But each one is grappling with a heavy secret- can they forgive themselves and each other?

This is on my December reading list-a feel good story with love and forgiveness. Just what the dr ordered 🤔

This was a very cute holiday story about two single people who make a contract to be together through the holidays. Of course the ending is predictable but I loved it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Richard Paul Evans‘ books are always do emotional and wonderful!!
Felt the need to read a “Christmas” type book. Pleasantly surprised by how hooked I am to the storyline....
#SeasonsReadings Day 22: Apparently, there is an entire #Mistletoe series of books that I didn‘t even know existed. Anyone who has read these titles?
I'm not one to read a Chriatmas theme, and I'm not big contemporary but I wanted to read a book that was turned into a Hallmark move. I love the movie. The book is definitely different and the movie leaves out a big (if not the most important) part. They really cheered it up. But I liked the book anyway. A quick, easy read.
I took off from work today to rest my achy hands. Was able to finish a book and hit the library. I love the Mistletoe Promise Hallmark movie so I want to give the book a try. 😁
Just started this one and I 💜 the premise #currentlyreading
There is nothing better than a holiday romance and this one is no exception. Evans has the rare talent to make holiday love seem magical and not at all cheesy! I wish my life was like a holiday romance and my Prince Charming would wonder into my life during the holidays! 💖🎄💖
A great Christmas book and the carol burnett show... this Sunday can‘t get any better!!
I'm not a huge fan of romance books... unless it's Christmas time. Richard Paul Evans gives you exactly what you want from a holiday book- sweet, predictable romance, holiday cheer, and sappy good sentiments. In this particular book it's two lonely adults (who each have a secret to hide) enter in a contract to be each other's date for the holiday season. It's ridiculous and smoopy, but exactly the kind of quick holiday audio book I needed.
A story overflowing with the spirit of Christmas!
4/5 stars This book was a perfect finish to my goodreads year. Such a good Christmas story that really made the season feel that much sweeter. Some hardships in the book, but it ends well. What more can you ask for? A sweet Christmas love story ❤
This quote! ❤❤simply perfection just like this book so far.
I forgot to post this last night! A couple #ChristmassyReads I have in the house right now. #SeasonsReadings2016
OK, I think I might be addicted to the library. I just checked out another book when I already have four physical books and four e-books checked out. I cannot stop, resistance is futile! #Bookaholic
I adore these books and will be sad when I finish The Mistletoe Secret. I might hold off until a little closer to the holiday. We will see. This book actually was turned into a Hallmark movie, so I definitely think fans of Hallmark's oft-cheesy but also enjoyable movies will enjoy this!
"...everyone needs an emotional foxhole. A place to hide when life's storms hit." Agreed!
