Oh, Firebrand. Why did she write you? Arguably the weirdest of all in the series so far. Why would Karigan be sent out when she is barely healed? Wtf is an ice elemental doing here? The one bright spot is Enver— I love him and want him to be so happy. Zachary is on my last nerve. My guy, you have children on the way, what are you thinking?? Disappointed a little bit in Karigan too, but 90% is on our boy Zach. 7.5/10

This is book #6 in the Green Rider series. It is a chunkster, coming in at 800 pages. Not my favorite in the series, but I still enjoyed it. The character development and world building still continue to be fabulous. 4.5ish ⭐

I was afraid of this. Thicker than Mirror Sight. Still good, and I can get some weight lifting in when I'm reading it 😂

Firebrand gives so much depth to King Zachary, a character that although a fan favorite has had very little opportunity to provide his own voice. I loved this book!

Sweet lord this book could double as a doorstop and/or fireside foot stool because clocking in at approximately 800 pages, this next installment in Kristen Britain's increasingly long-winded epic fantasy series isn't pulling any word count punches. It's been a slow decline in quality since Green Rider but I'm still hanging in there. Barely. By a thread.

I only read 3 books this month with the move to my new house. Looking forward to tackling more in April.

This was so amazing and satisfying! Such an excellent continuation of the story. The pacing was well done and Britain did a great job wrapping up this individual story while also setting up for the next book. I adored all 800 pages of adventure, magic, and feelings!

Having a beer before dinner after a busy Saturday. I bought a couch and a chair for my new house, and I'm probably going to order another bookcase or two when I get home!

So I love this book. I love this series. Mister Whiskers is cool, and I posted this on Kristen Britain's Facebook page and she replied. (Fangirl'ing hardcore over here.) Loved this instalment in the series, and can't believe how long I have to wait for the next one. 😢

I have another 650 pages left in this one, so I'd have plenty of reading material if the aliens took me. #funfridayphoto
