The lack of concern and the outright duplicity in the part of the Radium Companies and their management was shocking. At times, I was so angry I found myself pacing around my apartment while at other times, the women‘s suffering and the thought of the lives they might have led brought me to tears. I do wish there wasn‘t so much flipping back and forth between the women‘s stories. Heartbreaking story. #2018NFBE

My #nonfictionbookexchange arrived!

The first of my #nfbe #2018nfbe books - thank you @Smarkies ! I pulled this off the shelf while looking for something earlier and ended up reading it cover-to-cover in one sitting.

Written by a 13-yr-old Japanese boy with autism, this is a beautiful description of how he experiences his world, and a plea for understanding. Fascinating, eye-opening, in parts heartbreaking, and highly recommended.

Thanks to @Christine11 for my #2018NFBE box. Puts my own lack of wrapping to shame, too. But it's all about the books. And thanks to @inwhichHeikereadsharder for organising the exchange!

Lord this week has been rough. Trying to get over a nasty sinus infection on top of having two tests for one of my biology classes. However these little gems made my day!!! I got some amazing tea that has already been opened and consumed 😊. Thank you @LeslieO for the wonderful package!!! #2018NFBE
