pickExceeded my expectations! Book 2 of the series was nearly 28 hours of nonstop action and excitement! I thought it was going to feel too long, but I didn‘t want it to end. Now the year long wait for the next installment. Sigh.

It‘s feast or famine! Since Thursday night, my library offered me these books for 7 day loans. I took them all. 🙈. I was 3/4 finished with Babel from a prior 7 day loan, so I started it first…and finished yesterday morning. Then I started the Sevin book. I got well into it when a copy Demon Copperhead became available to me again.
Hooray!! But oh my!
I‘ve been listening nonstop in the hope of getting through them all. Wish me luck!

Finished my 4th ARC…as was my goal for #20in24. Also 4 ARCs for #AugustArcs
This was a good story of a woman, Hannah, and her son visiting Ashton Hall, where her dying uncle lives. There she gets her life in order and investigates one of the inhabitants, Isabella Cresham, whose body was found in Ashton Hall by Hannah‘s son. Seems she lived there in the late 1600s.

I messed up the stopwatch….I forgot to stop it and went to bed. But I am guessing I read about 12-13 hours. I read the tagged book, half of the section for the Sunday Buddy Read and about 100 pages of The Eighth Life. What I had planned.
