When the past shows up I. A negative way great read 🙌🏽📖… I‘m really sad that I‘m getting to the end of this series I‘m heading into #52 with a little heavier heart that I‘m getting to where I have to wait for the next book to come out … oh well I guess it‘s something I‘ll have to look forward to 😊📖

robinb I still have a few to read (I TRY to wait until the price comes down a little as I like to purchase physical copies of these 😊). But I know what you mean! I wish my favorite series could go on forever. 💙 1mo
Ddzmini @robinb I try to get second hand when I can it helps but with this series I just used credits I had with my kindle and I‘ve been lucky to get them or most of them on my kindle 1mo
robinb @Ddzmini I do have some on my Kindle as well. But I love the series so much I‘ve started collecting paper copies (mostly from ThriftBooks). 1mo
Ddzmini @robinb … same 🙌🏽😊 4w

I have come to love this author! This was a definite 4.5☆ and a great audiobook. Ruby McTavish is the matriarch of Tavistock NC. When she dies her adopted son, who is her heir, receives a letter from the uncle and has to return to Ashby house to get things in order, even though he vowed never to return. Jules, his wife, just knows they will make their home there. And as the book unfolds, we read Ruby's letters that hint at dark secrets⬇️

The ending of this series was so satisfying for me. So glad there are more Crusie/Mayer collabs promised at the end of this book. I've missed the fun Crusie style and mixed with the Mayer military knowledge is such a winner in my book. #52-2023

An easy read about two elderly people who live in the same Independent Living Facility (not a nursing home!). They become fast friends who decide to embark on an adventure to escape the renovations at said living home but really they end up bonding over their life experiences. Book #52 in 2023

Book #52
3.5/4
Hendrix doesn't really fit into a genre - I've read all of his novels to date (my favourites being My Best Friend 's Exorcism and Horrorstör), and I'd have to say that the recipe for a Hendrix book is equal parts horror, creepiness, humor, and nostalgia.

Kris10H If you have a phobia of dolls and puppets, you might want to sit this one out.
How to... is on par with We Sold Our Souls, and The Final Girls Support Group, and The Southern Book Club..., but not quite as excellent as ...Exorcism and Horrorstör.

What a very interesting (almost) thriller. Forward thinking neuroscience meets sociology with a fat wallet mad doctor on the loose…that‘s all I can say without divulging too much! Book #52 in 2022

DinoMom I love the cover! 2y

I don't even know what to say on this one. What a great book. One of the few that I've ever felt has lived up to its hype. Five 🌟. 2 👍🏻 Definitely high on the favorite reads of the the year. #52-2022
