Bk8 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done! I actually finished this last night just haven‘t had a chance to post till now. This was hard to read at times, the topic, FGM & it‘s practice in England specifically, is a very emotional subject but the author handles it extremely well. Absolutely loved this! Very very interesting multi-generational saga about a Korean family living in Japan. As someone who knows very little about the 20th century history of this world (beyond the obvious), I found this fascinating.

Plus, it was a #TBRDeckOfCards read, and has kicked off #bookspinbjngo for February!

I did well on my reading goal for January: have 50% of my reading be BIPOC and Queer authors and I managed 59% 😄 But my 20 min workouts everyday? Not so much.
