Bk3 of February 2022 is done! Another reread, I‘ve been bouncing around everywhere with books this year, I think I‘ve read one from nearly every genre on my shelf with new reads & rereads both. With this I thought I‘d freshen my memory before the 2nd comes out in a few days🙌Loved it just as much as the first read, I have a huge weakness for Maas‘ books, don‘t know why. Bk2 of February 2022 is done! The 3rd Rizzoli book is one of my favourites in the series. It introduces Father Brophy & both Maura & Jane are given more depth. A bitterly cold Xmas in Boston & a young nun is found bludgeoned to death in the Abbeys chapel, another nun barely hanging onto life. Bk1 of February is done. A reread of a book which is technically the 2nd Rizzoli & Isles novel but really is the first book with both Jane AND Maura involved. I loved it just as much this time around. Rizzoli is battered but unbent after her encounter with The Surgeon when a bee series of murders start. Bk12 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 & Bk1 of #20in4 #readathon is done! A nostalgic reread of a much loved series, I forgot how much I enjoyed this book. It‘s not the most eloquent story I‘ve ever read but it has heart & a depth that‘s surprising. Bk11 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done. The 3rd in the Alice series, it‘s an anthology of four short stories. The 1st is about Elizabeth, Alice‘s little sister who is lured out to release the Jabberwock from his prison, one is about Hatcher‘s early days & the rest about Alice & Hatcher‘s search for a home. Bk8 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done! I actually finished this last night just haven‘t had a chance to post till now. This was hard to read at times, the topic, FGM & it‘s practice in England specifically, is a very emotional subject but the author handles it extremely well. Bk7 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 & Bk3 of #JoyousJanuary #readathon is done. The 4th in the Cormaran Strike series, it isn‘t my favourite so far but it was still a good read. A mentally unwell young man asks Strike & Robin to investigate his memory of a murder. Bk5 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done. Wow. I blew through this in a day, I guess the day off was productive after all! I absolutely loved this 2nd book. Even though the MCs were different, it had a few side characters in common & the world it‘s in. Set in the HUGE Core General Hospital, it‘s about a rescue specialist doctor who has to save the entire hospital habitat from an insane computer virus. Fantastic! #BookspinBingo #Pop22👇

Bk4 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done. Finally! Haven‘t had time to read with the cleaning but I got there in the end.Fantastic space opera,the start of a new series it‘s full of beautiful imagery & space facts. There‘s a section that talks about the SuperMassiveBlackHole at the centre of the Milky Way that was brilliant. The characters & the story were both well written & interesting.
