I read six graphic novels yesterday including this one. I always love her comics.

I ❤️ Lucy Knisley. Her #graphicmemoirs are so realistic. Every mom can commiserate as Go to Sleep (I Miss You) accurately portrays the sleepless foggy days, adventures in breastfeeding, being enamored with your baby, and all the other little experiences of motherhood. I recommended this to my daughter whose baby recently turned 1. Would be a nice gift for any new mom.

This book came in last week, but it was still in a box until I asked about it. I'm glad I asked though because this book was fantastic. We first hear Robin's perspective then learn more about why her (single!) mom uprooted her daughter from Korea to ALABAMA. Meaty memoir, even though it's YA.

This book doesn't pull any punches. Normally, I try to stay away from #memoirs with co-authors and am hesitant to try #graphicmemoirs where the author isn't the illustrator, but this didn't suffer from the dilution. Engrossing read.

This book is laugh-out-funny, heartbreaking, poignant, incisive, and silly in equal measures.
One of the best graphics memoirs I have ever read, and I highly recommend it.

Due to my sudden interest in #graphicnovels and #graphicmemoirs I‘ve already completed my 90 book challenge for the year and reset my goal to 165. It‘s a great reading year so far!
I am having an amazing reading month and a great start to my reading year all because Litsy turned me on to #graphicnovels & #graphicmemoirs. A genre I would have never really pictured myself reading. I even picked up a few more tonight. So thanks to all of you I am going to have to expand my annual #readinggoal. Just trying to think of a good number.
