I wasn‘t sure what book to pair with #LetItBe but I found this when I was researching the lyrics:

Concerning the song's title, Paul relates in his book "The Lyrics" that this may have been a subliminal recollection from his past. "One interesting thing about 'Let It Be' that I was reminded of only recently is that, while I was studying English literature at the Liverpool Institute High School for Boys with my favorite ⬇️

Several years ago my sister participated in a quilt challenge based on a Beatles theme. She chose to make a quilt of “Carry That Weight” while another quilter used #letitbe as their inspiration. The organizers put together a book of everyone‘s creations. #volumesandvocals

This is an interesting account of a lesser-known event in the history of the women‘s suffrage campaign, the Great Pilgrimage. Over 6 wks in 1913, hundreds of women (anti-militancy) marched to London from all over the country to prove how many respectable, law-abiding women wanted the vote. They couldn‘t #LetItBe the way things were, and better #DontStopMeNow as they campaigned to be given the vote on equal terms as men. Not #WithoutMe !
