Ebook deal alert! This year is becoming more and more about Russia, and the first book has insights. On the right may be an interesting extension of #marchinmarch reading! #blameitonlitsy #tbrtuesday

Laura317 I'm so into learning about Russia right now! Thanks!! 8y
ValerieAndBooks Thanks for the heads up on the Bayard Rustin one! Just ordered. As you may recall he was from my town. 8y

If you're looking for more graphic novels about the civil rights movement after #MarchinMarch, give this one a try. The title is taken from one of my favorite MLK quotes.

Donna_sBookMinute I noticed Nate Powell's art immediately. Stacked. 8y

Besides being #True, this book was really powerful. It wasn't quite as engrossing to me as Book Two, but there were several times I wanted to cry with the impact of it. Great trilogy that I would be interested in sharing. (Started it for #MarchinMarch but finished it in #LyricalApril.)

This is just vile. How, in any society, is this ok? 👿 #MarchInMarch #MarchIntoApril @Merethebookgal @TheNextBook

TheNextBook It's disgusting. 8y
Ruri_kaichou @TheNextBook it really is. The whole sentence is just wrong. Was there even backlash to this statement? Probably not which makes me even angrier 8y

I managed to read 11 books in March despite weathering an AWFUL slump over the last week. I neglected to read Book 3 for #MarchInMarch and didn't read anything for #LitsyAtoZ. Oh well. Here's to a better April! #BestofMarch

tpixie 11 is a fantastic accomplishment!! 🎉📚🎉 8y

Well this ended up going a lot better than I thought it would. Especially with March Madness! #marchinmarch was amazing! I can't stop singing its praises. I honeslty can't choose a favorite book for this month because I read some really amazing books. Reading March with the kid threw off my #keepingitshort count for this month but I've still read a short story for every book I've read so still on track overall!

March was productive for reading with 25 books total (as soon as I finish the last 50 pages or so of Himself.) 😀Numbers include audio books, 4 graphic novels-March trilogy & Relish, a cookbook-Near & Far & a children's book-Preaching to the Chickens + several other shorter reads but also a few longer books like Big Little Lies. One day maybe I'll track monthly pages.😬I posted my March favorites earlier but I only had one so-so in the mix...

DebinHawaii Shrill on audio just didn't do it for me. I also finished 600-ish pages of Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire for #hpchapteraday this month. What went less well was keeping up with reviews on Goodreads & updating book challenges--I am behind on both & hope to catch up this weekend & make it a goal for April. 😬 But all in all a good month! 📚👍😀 (edited) 8y

DebinHawaii @LeahBergen @Booksandcooks @AlexMay @Cinfhen @melbeautyandbooks @LauraBeth @Lakesidemusing Thanks everyone! That's my biggest month so far and I credit Litsy, the several shorter books, audio time, #hpchapteraday, #marchinmarch and some definite antisocial feelings & behaviors this month for those numbers! Hah! 😆📚👍 8y

March stats. Busy, busy month.

I'm so glad I participated in #marchinmarch. It was a great reason to break down and read all three volumes in one relatively short spell.

For now, school is about to get even busier, and I start a new job in just a few weeks. Expect to see much more kid lit from me moving forward!

Lindy Bring on the kid lit! 😀 8y
