Enjoyed this series!!! Wynn may have been born with a disability, but that doesn‘t stop her from being brave, caring, loving, and a strong protagonist. A book about family and fighting for what is right and what you love no matter how great the obstacle.

It‘s a middle grade fairy tale story. Not your typical Prince Charming saves the damsel in distress. It‘s about 2 siblings who must run away to prevent Wynn, the sister, from being sold as a slave to their lord. There‘s evil creatures, fairies, changelings and more.

This is a fun middle grades book full of adventure, monsters, and complicated relationships. The characters are unique and hilarious. I loved learning about the different monsters and also seeing how each kid dealt with their unique family conflict.
