It's 10p, and the sun is still shining. High latitude is weird. Here is my first library haul in Alaska, and in the background, our in-progress reading room.
For once I was reading so hard I almost forgot to post! This book is really fun. Not at all what I expected.

pickThis is an adorable, fun middle grade read. Matilda meets Charlie and the Chocolate factory meets Sherlock Holmes. Loved it!

Did I spend a silly amount of time this morning looking at book nooks on Pinterest? Maybe. Do I blame @Eggs for this? Absolutely. 😆
Here are my #top5booknooks. Essential components: back support, butt support (must have a pillowy bottom!), & - in 4 out of 5 cases - a view. 📖🌅📚
I limited myself to actual “nooks.” There are so many beautiful rooms, outdoor writing/reading sheds, & luxurious porch swings - but I tried to be strict! 🙈
pickA cute middle-grade mystery that I finished up on my #audiowalk this afternoon. The narration is solid and the story kept my interest, although much of the mystery was easily predictable to an adult reader.
My book club is celebrating its 20th anniversary this weekend at a winery and just LOOK at this little reading nook in my hotel room! It looks like it was once a closet. ❤️
