I can‘t say I read many political thrillers…it was kind of over the top and silly, but entertaining! The ending was very abrupt…but I was ready for it to end either way 😆

#WinterGames Team #ReadNosedReindeer #festivephotochallenge #sappyholidayromance #holidaytradition There are 3 very sappy holiday romances in this book - the first romances I ever read at like age 12. I read it every year for nostalgia‘s sake. 1 + 1 + 20 @Clwojick

I won a contest and got a free book and book tshirts from Morristown Festival of Books! Can I expect to see anyone there this year? It's my favorite literary event, I've gone a few years in a a row Saturday Oct 12th Morristown NJ (it's free! Keynote is Oct 11th).

#songsofsummer @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @OriginalCyn620 My #happy book is the first romance collection I ever read when I was a teen. It has three short, cheesy romances that had my young heart beating faster. It‘s a very well-loved copy and I still sometimes revisit it at Christmas time, even though my beloved cocker spaniel chewed on the first few pages when I was 13 and they are now unreadable.

Celebrated #indiebookstoreday at #watchungbooksellers in Montclair #NJ ! They even had some blind date books 😁😁 #bookhaul #bookstores #indie
My two books I picked out myself were The Orphan of Salt Wind (compared to Jane Eyre) and The Girl Who Never Read Noam Chomsky! The others were blind date books.

Alright, Littens! Today I‘m having a series of meetings in #NJ and now #NYC. If I have time, I‘ll show you my favorite #readingspot in the City, it‘s close to here! 😁

“Here” is Columbus Circle. FYI: it is from this spot where the “New York Metro Area” spans for a 12-mile radius. This is the exact center of it all!

Anyway, stay tuned! 😁

Yes! #NJ littens (or PA/NY/NYC or other folks who want to travel - there's a short direct train from #nyc) - who wants to join me for my favorite event of the year? MORRISTOWN FESTIVAL OF BOOKS is on Sat Oct 13!!

The author list JUST got announced and it looks AMAZING. AJ Finn, Joyce Carol Oates, Kate Morton, Fiona Davis, Megan Abbott, Laini Taylor, Kate Quinn, Peter Lerangis, Matt de la Peña, and more!

http://morristownbooks.org/2018-authors/

bookandcat Oh and John Kerry has the keynote with his new memoir. The train station is about two blocks to the festival, which is all on one street. You can meet all of the authors and buy/get books signed, and they will all give talks together! TELL ME IF YOU'RE INTERESTED! I can organize a #litsymeetup if so. 6y

ErikasMindfulShelf I‘m definitely interested but have to check the calendar when I get home from vacation to make sure I can go. (edited) 6y

bookandcat @irre sounds good! 6y
dariazeoli Very cool! It apparently takes twice as long to get there by train from my town! I hate to drive but this sounds fun. Also, I saw Pete Lerangis‘s name and immediately thought of the Baby-sitters Club Club podcast 😁 6y
bookandcat @dariazeoli yessss I literally yelled SWEET PETE when I was scrolling through the author list. My husband was so confused 😂 if you feel up for the drive let me know, as I can coordinate something for any Littens that attend! 6y
MrBook @bookandcat 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 @BookBabe and I go every year. 😎🙌🏻 I have a Slack channel up and running. Are you on it already? 6y
bookandcat @MrBook yes I am! 6y
